CHILDREN’S CLASSES
Suzuki Cello for Ages 4-6
Beginning: Thursdays 4:00-4:30 PM with instructor Karen Geyer
Advanced Beginning: Thursdays 3:30-4:00 PM with instructor Karen Geyer
The Suzuki method applies the basic principles of language acquisition to learning music with the mother tongue approach of listening and repeating. Parents learn along with students so they can supervise at-home practicing. Price does not include cello rental (from a third party); consult instructor for guidance before renting. $115; books extra.
Beginning Piano for Ages 7-11
Thursdays 5:30-6:15 PM with instructor Xiaoke Cheng
A fun time of learning the piano, including rhythm, notes, and melodies. No experience necessary. Limit 4 students. $115; books extra.
Advanced Beginning Piano for Ages 7-11
Tuesdays 5:45-6:15 PM with instructor Xiaoke Cheng
For those who have completed Beginning Piano for Ages 7-11 or who can play simple melodies and chords. $115; books extra. Limit 4 students; returning students must register to reserve their space in the class.
TEEN, ADULT & SENIOR CLASSES
Cellobration Cello Choir
Mondays 6:45-7:30 PM with instructor Karen Geyer
Enjoy the beautiful sound of many cellos playing together. Must have completed Suzuki Book 1 or equivalent. All ages and skill levels welcome! $60; books extra.
Beginning Piano for Adults and Teens
Wednesdays 6:30-7:00 PM with instructor Xiaoke Cheng
You’ve always wanted to play – here is your chance. In our electronic piano lab, you can either use the headphones so only the instructor can hear you or perform for the whole class! No previous experience necessary. Limit 4 students. $115; books extra.
Beginning Piano for Seniors (55+)
Saturdays 10:00-10:30 AM with Dr. Thomas Taylor Dickey
Music and Wellness with older adults is one of the fastest growing areas of music today. Keep your brain and hands stimulated through music while enjoying the camaraderie of a group setting. No experience necessary. Limit 4 students. $100; books extra.
Seniors may instead join Beginning Piano for Adults and Teens for only $100 if the class time is more convenient.
Advanced Beginning Piano for Adults and Seniors
Saturdays 10:30-11:00 AM with Dr. Thomas Taylor Dickey
Continue the journey of musical discovery, or brush up on those skills you learned in piano lessons years ago! For students who have completed Beginning Piano or have previous experience. Limit 4 students. $115 ($100 for seniors); books extra.
Women’s Voice for Age 50+
Fridays 1:30-2:15 PM with instructor Pam Crawford
Women are singing longer into life! Come and reacquaint or learn the techniques of saving or getting the best mileage out of the voice you have! Emphasis on group singing but solo work possible. $100; books extra (if necessary).

Learn a new skill with your friends!
Form your own class with two or three friends based on your schedule. A fun and flexible option! No age or experience requirements; similar skill level among students is best. (Young children may not be able to participate in all classes.) Choose from the following class types, instructors, and lengths, and then sign up for any time that is available. Classes are 12 weeks, March 5--May 26 . Prices do not include books. No registration deadline.

Class Length Pricing:
45 minute class (3 student minimum): $115 each
60 minute class (4 student minimum): $125 each
Instructor schedules vary. Ask about a senior discount. After March 5 you may register a 9-week course beginning March 26 for $90 (45 min) or $100 (60 min); or a 6-week course beginning April 16 for $60 (45 min) or $65 (60 min).
