Jazz & Improvisation Masterclass for Piano Teachers with Dan Knight    July 9 & 16

NISOM is excited to announce the return of Steinway artist Dan Knight to our faculty this summer.  In addition to teaching private and group lessons for piano students, local piano teachers can sign up for a two-session Masterclass on July 9 & 16, 7:00PM-9:00 PM.  Learn how to instruct your students in jazz! This class will cover teaching methods and materials, the concept of "swing" -- what it is and how to teach it, jazz scales and modes, chord "voicing," and how to find source materials both for you and your students.   Tuition is $220; register by June 30.   Downloadable flyer & registration form (Opens in PDF)
